Biometric Technical Training Course:
The Technical Training Course highlights advanced biometric techniques including device installation as well as troubleshooting tips and techniques.  The course provides the opportunity to work with different modalities including facial recognition, fingerprint, hand geometry, and iris devices.  The course is ideally suited for electricians, engineers, IT professionals, and anyone who wishes to be skilled at the installation and troubleshooting of biometric devices.

 Course Objectives:

• To demonstrate the installation of various biometric modalities
• To work through troubleshooting issues with various biometric modalities testing different techniques to solve problems

 

Course Outcomes:

• Participants will be able to install commercial off the shelf (COTS) biometric devices (fingerprint, iris, hand geometry, facial recognition)
• Participants will be able to recognize commonalities and differences between biometric device installations
• Participants will be able to troubleshoot installation processes for commercial off-the-shelf biometric devices
